My friend Mark told me that we were on Fox News and he taped it(the Laguna rally yesterday 7/30). He was there with us. Here's me from the news footage.

He also provided me with a sound clip and the newslady said ""over a hundred anti immigrant protesters"

I'm not sure if there was a hundred of us, perhaps the counter protesters confused them and added to our masses in appearance? That often happens.

However, I was really disappointed that the news person said "over a hundred anti immigrant protesters" when she should have said "over a hundred anti illegal immigrant protesters." :(

Yes watch out, the media is famous for misquoting and wrongful reporting. They always say we are "anti immigrant". We have said/rallied/quoted ect "anti ILLEGAL immigration" until we are blue in the face but the media fools always end up twisting it around. If you want some real down to earth accurate protest portrayals, check out the kirkby tv website where you can view footage of one of our rallies in Baldwin Park. This guy rocks and has the only coverage I will give my time of day.

And on a related note, in the issue of the SOS being misunderstood, I re-read the statement by Joe Turner regarding supremacists. And I am now much more assured that the SOS is the organization I fit in the most and am most comfortable in.

May I repectfully remind everyone that the on-the-ground reporter usually gets it right, both the papers and the tv news. It gets changed by the higher-ups who often live in big houses with private security with lots of money, completely insured and removed and insulated from all the negative aspects of illegal immigration.. The reporters on the ground know very well what's going on because their kids go to public schools, they live in regular houses on regular streets and drive the regular roads in regular cars. They are aware that under a Mexican or Aztlan flag their free speech and free press is right out the window. Oh how well they know it.

With a few exceptions, the reporters on the streets are the heroes, betrayed by their higher-ups just as we Americans all are.

The press is terrible. It is amazing at how bad they are at reporting facts. And I mean facts that really arent even open to bias. For crying out loud, the LA Times couldnt even get my age right.

The OC Register quoted Eileen as saying that she opposed a protest at the day labor center. Eileen and I personally discussed this and she was supportive of it and she sent me an email early this morning stating that she was misrepresented.

This is just wrong. I'm getting sick of the news. They lie all the time, to where you don't even know what the truth is anymore, and if you get your voice heard, they twist it.

If only we could sidestep the press somehow.
