This is so outrageous and disgusting that it fails reason and logic. It is indefensible. It is simply indefensible. That the city does not crack down on both illegal immigration AND gangs is indefensible. That the police chief could get on television to assure gangs that they would not be targeted is beyond comprehension.

Mayor Antonio Villaraigosa announced the completion of Operation Potholes 800,000th pothole repair. With Board of Public Works President Cynthia Ruiz, Bureau of Street Services Director Bill Robertson and members of the Citys Operation Pothole Patch-Up Squad on hand, Mayor Villaraigosa made the milestone street repair announcement at a news conference held at the intersection of Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard and Wadsworth Avenue in South Los Angeles.
