WASHINGTON (Reuters) - Fewer immigrants in the United States are sending money home to Latin America due to the U.S. economic slowdown and a harsher immigration climate, Inter-American Development Bank survey said on Wednesday.

Western Union used to be the one's to use, now it is my understanding the company 'money gram' is the favorite to use sending $$ south.

All money heading South out of the USA should be taxed heavily right there on the spot and put back into U.S. coffers. If you can't prove you're in the USA legally but still want to send money out of the country, 25% of that amount should be taxed, plus the fee for sending.
