As a lifetime "legal" and much traumatized citizen of border illegal alien sanctuary city, El Paso, Texas, the author of this article gave me some hope. If anyone tries to tell you these illegal aliens are NOT hostile and petty toward us Americans, they are either lying or have never lived in a border town. Get the fence built, NOW !!!

Situation makes fence necessary

When you see two homes with an abnormally high fence in between them, the fence itself is usually not the problem. It's just an indication of a bigger problem between the neighbors. The same can be said of nations who are neighbors.

The border fence itself is not the problem. It is an indicator of a wider problem, and that problem is the Mexican government and its inability to manage its own country.

The Mexican government is responsible for the perpetually sorry condition of the Mexican economy, the abject state of poverty of its working class, the plight of the illegal immigrants, the pervasive corruption of its officials, and the uncontrolled increase in narco-violence.

The critics need to accept the reality of the situation. If Mexico had developed differently, the fence would not be needed.

Meanwhile in America, while Americans continue to argue about how to solve a Mexican problem in Mexico, the poverty and migration north continues. The corruption continues, the kidnappings continue, the murders and assassinations continue, and in between the two neighbors the construction of a high fence must also continue.

Good LTE.

BTW - Who twisted the Mexican's arm to force the signing of the NAFTA Agreement?

If NAFTA, is so bad for Mexico, then why has't Mexico, repealed it?

Why are the deaths of illegal aliens blamed on Gatekeeper, the Minutemen, etc.

When will Mexicans accept personal responsibilty for their actions?
