The illegal-immigration issue has a sense of urgency because of ignorance and racism on the part of these self-proclaimed immigration control people the Minutemen militia, Save Our State advocates and others. This is not the first time, nor will it be the last, that Mexicans, Native Americans, Latinos, South Americans, Asians or other peoples of color have been targeted for deportation.

The Mexican and Mexican American continually have suffered racism and discrimination. At times, they have been legally brought to this country when America is in a bind or needs them as with the bracero program and then deports them with threats of jail or prison time if they refuse to go back.

Under President Eisenhower's Operation *******, land was forcibly taken from Mexican settlers in New Mexico, Texas and California, even after they had sworn allegiance to the United States and had been given American citizenship.

People like the SOS, the Minutemen and all other ignorant racist do-gooders need to get their facts straight.

The Minutemen continually say, "This is not a racial thing. We are against anyone of any nationality illegally immigrating into this country.'' So, how many illegal Canadians or other white Europeans have they deported at the Canadian border?

In reality, they are only targeting peoples of color at the Southern border, which indeed is a racist thing. These groups are mostly white supremacist groups trying to act as though they are protecting our country while at the same time racially cleansing the country of people of color.

Hey wait a minute! I do not remember being targeted for deportation! Well sense I am only about a quarter Native American, does that mean they only deport a quarter of me?

Sarcasm aside, it really pisses me off when they use Native Americans in their arguments.

For what it's worth, I've complained more than once about certain Canadians that have invaded the California Turf. John Nikar is a fine example of Canuck that has waxed fat off the fat of our land for several decades. He doesn't pay rent, living on and off in BLM territory, squatters turf such as Slab City, and private property of friends in and around Niland. He has accumulated over the years various and sundry diesel trucks, pickup trucks, trailers, etc., and somehow manages to evade every law on the books when it comes to paying a fair share for the space and air he absorbs.

He gets some kind of Canadian government retirement check, but he probably still has the original dollar he came here with. He wheels and deals a lot below the border, and has affiliations with some other old geezers who have similar interests to his... i.e. Mexican porn, Mexican prostitutes, and general Mexican products that he manages to slide past customs and sells in flea markets in Niland/Slab City. You'll find him out and about in San Diego in the summers, since Imperial County is unbearably hot during this period. He's a typical deadbeat immigrant, who sleeps in one of his many vehicles near downtown San Diego, walking distance to the Senior Salvation Army breakfast facility for seniors... this jerk doesn't even pay for food! He's taken as much advantage of Mexico's border towns along California as he has California itself. He speaks fluent Spanish, however, having been "useful" to certain undesirable Mexicans both here and in Mexico when it comes to supplying "information." Albeit, he is a "white guy," I've expended more effort slamming this undesirable Canadian immigrant than I have the Illegal Latino workers hereabouts... to no avail! This guy skates just like the illegals, even though I suspect that his "residency" status is quite questionable.

As for the "prevailing racist attitude" elaborated upon in the article above, I can only ask: "Where have I heard this before?" It's become another tiring, and redundant refrain, proffered by those who are either stupid enough to believe it, or have the usual political agenda in using it as a poor man's terrorist tool to intimidate the still prevailing white citizenry. Having an affiliation (by color) with the majority white citizenry, I know all about racism... from both sides of the fence. I've lived around racism all my life. I can assure all and any that it manifests itself under all creeds and colors. The prevailing bane of my existence had always been "other whites"... until about twenty years ago, when the bane slowly started to change complexion, becoming more tan than bland. Still and all, I reserve my greatest contempt for those who tried to lessen my life during my formative years, but I'm more than ready to stand up to anyone newly arrived, and of color, who defiles my land and liberty. Say what they will, my first response will always be: "con safos!"

I heard this guy (felix diaz) on the radio about a year ago. He was discussing several things including the El Plan Espiritual de Aztlan and the treaty of Guadalupe hildago. I had never in my life heard such a racist and I was incensed.

The local radio talk show host let him go on saying the most outrageous and racist things. I tried to call in but never got through since there were many others this guy angered.

Felix Diaz is pro-brown and doesn't care for any other race. I would love to debate this guy. But I have to give him credit, he is the one who truly ignited the spark that caused me to become involved in saving our state and nation. :angry:

[Thank you for using the term "illegal-immigration". He needs to check grammar, punctuaion and spelling. The Minutemen are not a militia. Militias (and paramilitaries) train in military tactics. True the Minutemen carry guns, but so would a normal person, when performing the citizen's reponsibility of defending the nation.]

[It is not a racial thing. It is the law. You should lear to read it. The Minutemen started on the southern border, because they live within a couple of hours of diving to Mexico. Canada, is too far for me to drive. The Minutemen do not conduct deportations. The Federal government is supposed to do deportations. The Minutemen, in fact, do not detain, apprehend or arrest any suspected illegal-immigrants, they report the person(s) to the Border Patrol.]

What country were Native Americans deported to? Maybe he means Mexican Indians.

Aren't South Americans and Mexicans also Latinos? I guess listing the same people four different ways make it sound more ominous than it really is.

As for Vietnamese from Asia, the only ones deported are those that commit felonies, as they should be. Actually, almost all Asian nationalities feel the same way, that Asian felons and illegal aliens should be deported (along with those from all other continents), so stop speaking for Asians.

Eisenhower deported mexicans over a million of them, who were here illegally. They came claiming to be agricultural workers and then just refused to leave. Out of that mass deportation, we got the Bracero program. We need another leader like Eisenhower.

Arrests for Explosives and Weapons

On Tuesday September 20, 2005 Sacramento County Sheriff’s Deputies responded to the 11000 block of Arno Road for a report of found explosives. The Sheriff’s Communications Center received a call reporting that several plastic tubes, each approximately 16 inches long and stenciled with “explosive”, were located in a bedroom of the residence.

The Sacramento Sheriff’s and Sacramento Police Explosive Ordnance Details (Bomb Squads) responded to the scene and removed 60 to 70 pounds of explosives from the residence. As a result of the investigation, Bomb Squad Detectives and ATF Agents arrested three suspects for weapons and explosives related charges. According to investigators, the recovered explosives were taken during a 1993 El Dorado County burglary.

Investigators arrested Josh McDaniel (05-25-82) and Chris Hemmingway (01-21-60) on explosive related charges and Jeff Drum (01-20-54) for weapons violations.

Mr. Diaz, like most racial accusers, never explains why he considers it ignorant and racist for someone to object to criminal behavior committed by those of a different ethnicity.

I wonder if Mr. Diaz also thinks it's racism to be a supporter of criminal activity when it's committed by those of your OWN ethnicity.

Kathy, I agree we haven't had a decent president since Eisenhower. At least not one that would deal effectively with the illegal immigration problem.

It's because you don't agree with him or do what he wants. There is no other explaination.
